從入圍者名單來看，本土品牌Alexander McQueen和剛剛掌舵Loewe的J.W. Anderson 擁有兩項提名。除此之外，2014年度的各路風云設計師也都紛紛入圍了各種大獎。其中競爭最為激烈的當屬年度最具國際影響力設計師的爭奪，Dior的設計師Raf Simons，LV的設計師Nicolas Ghesquière以及Saint Laurent的設計師Hedi Slimane，三位改變品牌命運和風格的人士，成為了最大看點。當然，作為英國的時尚大獎，本土設計師以及品牌也不能忽視，Christopher Bailey、Mary Katrantzou、Christopher Kane等一批倫敦時裝周上的閃耀看點，也是頒獎典禮的又一看點。
